Tree damage.... Follow up to item reported months ago under "Snow Plow Damage", but has not been remedied. Unfortunately, I did not make note of when I reported it.

R. Tree in photo at front of the circle as you drive up Whitney Circle needs to be cut down. It's half dead and an eye sore - not completely visible in the photo, but you can see the roots pulled out of the ground. Can't do it ourselves, because it's on town property. During the last/only really significant snow storm of winter/spring 2023, plow driver RAMMED the tree several times ( instead of just leaving a pile of snow in front of the circle as is usually done). PLEASE HELP THIS TIME!

As of 10/1 2023: Still not resolved.
Snow plow smashed the tree in late winter/ early spring 2023. Issue first reported April 2023.
Not sure if my attempt to reply from my desktop PC went through this morning.

I see no evidence that anything has been done. I’d already given up… other things are probably more important.
Tree is now dying, looks awful. I just don’t look at it. I try to maintain the landscaping in the circle - leaf removal etc, but can’t take down a half dead tree especially on town property.
We’ll put out reflective stakes this year to try to prevent future damage.
