Stairs on the side of the buildingAs you can see from the photo, some attention is needed with these stairs. Not only are the stairs in rough shape, but the depth of the stairs makes it really difficult for people to utilize them
Any help is greatly appreciated

Grass also needs to be mowed

The Revere Public Library has lost a number of trees over the years. This is a follow-up to a conversation I had with Councilor McKenna.
May some of those trees that Councilor McKenna advocated for be planted at the Revere Public Library?
The Immaculate Conception Church has chosen to remove two of their trees on their property which makes the library look sparse
Thank you in advance

Water Related ArchivedElm St And Sewall Street Revere, Massachusetts - Revere
When Sewall Street was repaved several years ago the storm drain at the corner was paved over. DPW is aware of the situation, but no movement has happened on this issue in a long period of time so we'd like to reopen the conversation
DPW informed us that this wasn't originally a storm drain, but a catch basin even though it appeared to be a storm drain for many years. There was some debate about whether this catch basin should become a full time storm drain, but as of yet no decision has been made
As you can tell from the photo the amount of rainwater that collects at this corner is significant and needs attention, especially considering the number of children that live in the area, forget about the traffic public safety issues, potential damage to nearby homes and of course the street itself
Any attention this issue could be granted would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Other ArchivedWinthrop Ave And Elm Street Revere, Massachusetts - Revere
We've been getting some information that there appears to be an issue with truck drivers and GPS directions. Due to this programming flaw drivers are being directed to travel onto Elm Street from Winthrop Ave and then get stuck in the nearby neighborhood where the streets are too small for large trucks especially 18 wheelers
If a sign could be placed at this intersection to compensate for this flaw in the GPS programming, this would be a big help and avoid headaches.
There's been significant damage to the neighborhood's infrastructure due to this flaw including downed wires and tree damage. A sign is much cheaper than this constant drain on City resources
Thank you again
